I heard Jarir bin 'Abdullah (Praising Allah). On the day when Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba died, he (Jarir) got up (on the pulpit) and thanked and praised Allah and said, "Be afraid of Allah alone Who has none along with Him to be worshipped.(You should) be calm and quiet till the (new) chief comes to you and he will come to you soon. Ask Allah's forgiveness for your (late) chief because he himself loved to forgive others." Jarir added, "Amma badu (now then), I went to the Prophet and said, 'I give my pledge of allegiance to you for Islam." The Prophet conditioned (my pledge) for me to be sincere and true to every Muslim so I gave my pledge to him for this. By the Lord of this mosque! I am sincere and true to you (Muslims). Then Jarir asked for Allah's forgiveness and came down (from the pulpit).

InshaAllah Ramadhan will start on Wednesday or Thursday based on the local moon sighting information provided by previously identified 4 groups in North America ( Chicago , New York , Toronto , and California ) by Islamic Circle of Greater Trenton (ICGT) Shura.
ICGT Shura is comprised on several different Masajid (ICMC Masjid, Lawrenceville; Islamic center of Ewing; Masjid As-safat, Trenton ; Masjid Taqwa, Trenton ; Al-Furqan Academy , Hamilton ; Zubaida foundation, Yardley , PA ; and Masjid Shuhada, Mt. Holly).
Decision will be made by Ameer of Islamic Circle of Greater Trenton (ICGT) Shura on Tuesday night.

Alhamdullah we have Br. Yousaf in the community, volunteering to teach Quran to the kids at Masjid Shuhada from Monday to Thursday, starting Monday 07/19/2010 between 6 PM to Maghrib (8:30 PM).
Parents please take the opportunity to bring your kids to Masjid and
engage them with Quran learning even for half an hour and get benefit of this opportunity, don't let your kids to waste their time. This is the
best time for them to learn and memorize Quran.
There is no formal class, kids could spend as much time as they want, it could be thirty minuts to two hours, even one, two, three or four days in a week.

According to reliable sources from the Hilal sighting committees, the ICGT Shura follows in the USA and Canada, the crescent moon was sighted in many locations on Nov 17th. Therefore, the ICGT Shura Ameer, Imam Qareeb Bashir confirmed that the 10th Dhul-Hijjah (Eid-Ul-Adha) will be Friday, Nov 27th, 2009 and Day of Arafah will be on Nov 26, Thursday.
